The price of this work includes a wooden box (not made by me) and posting. That skips attention when all that is included in “free shipping” advertised in many places. I just want to be honest. If you’re a connoisseur, you know that it takes a long time, effort and money to make a work of art. Tictok videos speed that up and make it look like flipping a pancake. Then come the artists who sell through galleries, which take 45% of what the client pays. Then come artists that sell at auctions for millions. It’s something that will not change but it’s good when people are aware of what happens backstage in Art.
Oh, did I mention that one does not wake up one morning, grabs materials and creates a masterpiece? Please dont read sarcasm, the years of work that precede what you buy, must be reminded. All this because AI amazing works and 3d prints will replace the Warhol posters one buys at Walmart. It’s all good, there is no competition in Art!
