Faux Coins from a Defaced Queer History
History is written by the victors and the ruling class. Often works from the past get defaced, burned or become items of private collections and museum "secret cabinets".
I present a series of coins (more in the works) of what I see as currency in the Free Republics of Sodom & Gomorrah. They are inspired by other coins or medals that "survived" the purge, depicting erotic scenes of heterosexual engagement.
