We’re born naked, people who care about us clothe and prepare us to fit in a society. They write the start of out life story. The process often harms our individuality but, to some extent, it is possible to become the writer of your own story.

My First Act (up to 30, as Jane Fonda Puts it) I’ve been swinging between trying to please the ones I loved, to fit in the frame thy thought it was meant for me AND my essence, which only confused me, as I didn’t have many/much to relate to around me.
My Second Act (roughly 30 to 60) I came to understand myself, somehow, and think “well, if there’s no one on TV that I can relate to, I will just relate to myself.
I have built my culture, my language, my family, my past. That could sound dubious but the past we rebuilt continuously, memories get filtered and we recall events that explain our present choices. It all keeps moving. I see myself as the river and the riverbed at the same time.

Don’t worry, it’s just a blog, there’s no need to “understand the artist” to appreciate (or not) his work, his life. The blog itself is part of my work and just like my visual art, it can inspire you, it can leave you neutral or can push you away.
